As history and memory collide, two young lovers struggle through the cultural maze of modern-day Bangkok. Through images appropriated from Floridian postcards and classic Thai movies, Dao, a Thai prostitute, and Joe, an Amerasian man, dream of becoming whole. Will Bangkok guide them and live up to its name as the City of Angels or are they deceived by a city of illusion?
